Re: Meizu Pro5 fastboot mode locked

Could someone tell me how to get hold of Flyme OS 5.1.3.0A for a Meizu Pro 5? This version isn't available on flymeos.com. It is needed to unlock fastboot according to the thread "Meizu Pro5 fastboot mode locked".

Thanks Marathon but I don't understand what you mean by "there is 3 options on flyme firmware 5.1.6.A is unlocked."

              • What are the options you are talking about?
              • Do you mean that I should flash 5.1.6.A instead of 5.1.3.0A ?

@ubuntoutou I would not flash 5.1.6A while trying to unlock the bootloader. Stick to the guide and follow. No room for an error(costly motherboard replacement?)

on the CN site there are 3 versions to choose from 5.1.6 A is on there, but you have what you need.
If you are on flyme A or G you need to downgrade to 5.1.** to be able to unlock the Boobootloader.
people are waiting to help, but don't want to overload you with info.

I found RR-N-v5.8.5-20171212-m86 worked very well.
                        never tried dual boot.
much prefer Ubports now ,, it is becoming a much more polished/smoother OS, and more apps as the days go by
