Hi all,
I'd like to ask you about Telegram app for UT. In comparison with iPhones it looks like Telegram on UT is lacking a lot of features. It appears rather outdated. Making videocalls being just one. How's the development of this app looks like on UT ? Is there any way of knowing if there's a group of enthusiasts / coders who are trying to improve Telegram for UT ?

There is a new native Telegram client in development called "TELEports" that you can install the beta via the Open Store. It is snappier and smoother than the previous native Telegram app, and also enables editing. It is still missing some features but should see some updates fairly soon. Other than that, "WebTelegram" also gets you a good client for the online web version. As for lack of video chat - that currently a problem for all of UT and not just isolated to Telegram. This is also an issue that is being worked on but might take two or more OTA updates until we see a fix as the problem is complex and likely needs also some updates from upstream to correct.

@TotalSonic Not very sure why they're making another native client where they could've "joined forces" with Florian Leeber (listed publisher for the Telegram app) and make a Telegram for UT kickass app that already exists.

You can join our dev group but please do not just post feature requests. If you just want this, please use the Gitlab tracker. If you want to help development then you are more than welcome.

@Flohack Not to worry, Flohack. I'm not entering the group to complain or asking for more features. I'm interested in what's being worked on and such. I won't be contributing code as I've got my own project to work on. Thanks a bunch for your input.
