      Just for confirmation and in general, what is the most recent version of Android compatible UT ?

        Not sure what you mean, Android and UT are not compatible (based on how I understand compatibility).

          I wanted to say : what is the most recent android version that allows a UT installation?

          For example, i know that for the nexus 5, the latest factory image for the N5 is 6.0.1 (M4B30Z, Dec 2016) that allows UT installation ? Sorry if there is confusion in what i want to say...

            If you're asking about porting, the latest version available for a device is mostly irrelevant. What matters is the version which the device was shipped with originally. Currently, the newest Android which can have Halium ported (which is necessary for porting UT), is 7.1. Android 8/9 devices have some changes which Halium currently does not handle.
