I have put UB touch on my Fairphone touch but am having really problems. It constantly crashes, open random apps, delete things, sometimes just get stuck in loops. Is anyone else having these problems. At time my phone is also unusable. Is this it's just not stable enough to use yet. If so are updates likely to come anytime soon?

Similar behaviour has been reported in the Fairphone forum for Android, too. You might want to check the suggestions at https://forum.fairphone.com/t/fairphone-2-crazy-touch-inputs-touchscreen-issue-workaround-for-some-increase-touch-hold-delay/11533?u=ingo

@Ingo This appear to say information about need to update firmware does this mean I need to reinstall android. Does this mean Fairphone just can run Ubuntu?

@matt333 No. It means you have to scrupulously follow these instructions :https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1103/howto-fp2-update-baseband-other-firmware
It improved a few things on my fairphone 2 (battery drain, random reboots) and it might make yours work. Is it an FP2 by the way ? I don't believe FP1 is supported at the moment... But have some faith: mine works like a charm except flashlight doesn't work and it takes ages to lock ^^

You can install Android on the FP2 via these instructions
