What is the best UT phone currently available in the market? I need to buy new phone soon, but is there plans to add some new phone on the ports anytime soon?

Not looking for any high end phone but something ~300€

I must admit that I have been thinking about this too. The battery is going on my daily Samsung s5 and I think it is time to move on. I personally was thinking of getting a Mezu and putting UT on it via the magic device tool. I hope that I am wrong but I cannot see any phones being pre-installed with UT for a bit. It that is wrong I would really love to know.

Also thinking whats best. Looking for something that will last for awhile on UT but not cost a small fortune. Will the nexus 5 last for more than a few months or do I need to look at something else on the main supported devices list. All help gratefully received for when the bq 5 hits its retirement.

@ryan_stevens At the moment i think your best choice is to buy a core device. Or if you can wait i hope in 2018 we will see ubuntu touch on new devices with xenial...

If it is not that urgent, waiting for the Librem 5 may be an option to consider, with it's mainline linux kernel support a UBport is likely.
