Nexus 5 - Screen always on

Hello everyone!
I have just installed UT (edge channel, update 253) on a second hand Nexus 5 phone that i've just received and I have an issue with the screen as it is always on, even after locking the phone (pressing the power button once, the screen goes blank but you can see the backlight). Does anybody else have experience this? If so, is it something related to UT that can be solved?

Does not happen here on my Nexus5. Probably more of the opposite. The screen dimms and shuts off very aggressively.
Edit: I am on dev channel.

The edge channel has been broken for a few weeks after the "edge merge".
I'm not sure what is being worked on the edge channel now but it is not recommended for now.
You should switch to devel if you want the latest developments
