Can't install Ubuntu Touch . OnePlus One
-
I'm having a very unusual potential case of TRA here... It's just dead.
-
@polyglossia If fastboot worked you should have UBports recovery, boot to that factory reset, clear cache(Android Actions) reboot and try adb devices again maybe with a different usb cable just incase.
Did you grant permission on the device the first time you connected to the pc? You don't say what OS system you are using if it's windows use 15 sec adb https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979 and make sure you choose the system wide option when installing. -
I think something went wrong during fastboot...
ADB is installed. System-wide option: yup.
I'm on a Windows 10.
I did grant permission on the device, yeah...
(I've got the TRA under control!)

@ Lakotaubp
Thanks for your trouble...
-
@polyglossia No problem
-
Is it possible to reinstall the Android OS from scratch?
-
@polyglossia Should be. Have a look on the OnePlus website.
-
@polyglossia In fastboot mode you can only use fastboot, not adb. Just saying...
What does fastboot devices say? -
It worked out... there was an error message... it disappeared after several attempts.
At first, I was pressing the wrong button (volume up, instead of down) when I had to go back into bootloader.
Sorry for the waste of energy!
Thanks anyway...
-
@polyglossia No problem, so it is now successfully installed?
-
@Flohack /
Yeah, it is.... I like it. The design is beautiful, and it works very well.
The only thing that is missing is Spotify, and that might be sufficient reason to say bye-bye again....
-
@polyglossia we can do little about it, and big companies will almost always refuse to build their Apps for anything else than iOS and Android. Its the sad story of mobile devices that webapps, which would be sufficient in lets say 70% of cases, are dying a slow death nowadays.
