I recently updated rc to 66 in the oneplus one and it can't hide where the app icons are anchored and previously the screen was clean.![0_1583326904628_screenshot20200304_135148222.png](Uploading 100%)

          Hi @ricardo65
I took the liberty to move your topic to a more suitable location.
I was not sure if you are looking for help or if you tried to report an issue or ask for a change.

BTW the picture didn't work. And the new Unity8 is Lomiri (you made a typo) πŸ™‚

If you're talking about the new DE what is normal is :

          • The dropdown menu can be started only from the left side of the screen
          • When no app is running : the launcher (left panel) is always visible
          • When apps are running : the launcher is hidden like in OTA11
          • A long swipe from the left edge opens the app drawer

@AppLee I put it in case it was a bug. What I mean is that 2 or 3 versions ago in the devel channel the left part of the launcher was hidden and the screen stayed clean.

@ricardo65 That was a bug. It has now been fixed. The launcher is supposed to appear when all apps are closed.

@dobey Thank you very much for the clarification. It also looked good with a clean screen.

@ricardo65 Yes we know but currently our understanding is that many people complained that they did not find a way to show the launcher πŸ™‚ So we can only support this or that group. Its a real black/white decision to be made πŸ˜‰

I think that it's the correct behaviour when you first get the OS, but perhaps eventually, there could be an option to hide it.
