I've got in the forum for the Puri.sm L5 a pointer to this low-powered alternative for stargazers: http://wiki.maemo.org/Orrery
But, it's not in our OPenStore and fails to compile on my FreeBSD or Ubports device due to missing dependencies.

But meanwhile the Stellarium app is available in the OpenStore again, or doesn't it meet your requirements?

stellariumseems to work fine. I have to discover some features I'm used to use on my laptop (for example run the time back and forward fast, etc.)
