Re: Skype doesn't use my front camera on my tablett aquaris M10

        Hi!

Still valid, the app doesn't find the Camera. I'm on bq aquaris HD10 (cooler) dev, version 501.
The [https://open-store.io/app/skype.rubencarneiro skype app] does not give any information, and I can't use the "further information" link in the settings for audio and video, it just leads to some information "This XML file does not appear to have any style informations associated with it...", amountig to "The specified resource does not exist."

Using the skype website directly, the link "Further information" just leads to an empty site, "about:blank".

UT Tweak Tool tells me that Skype should have access to the camera, but it is not listed in the system settings section, and it never asked for rights to use the camera.

https://github.com/ubports/morph-browser/issues/62 has not been fixed yet...

Any ideas how to get the camera working?

Are there any working alternatives for UT?

A similar topic happened few weeks ago:
          https://forums.ubports.com/topic/3800/skype-web-app

Basically it is not possible at the moment.
The problem with video chat is well known but not easy to fix.

The best hope is within native apps like Teleports and FluffyChat but there are issues to address within the system first.

OK, thanks, even though that's bad news...
