Anbox on the PinePhone?

Hello, is it possible to install Anbox on the PinePhone? Anbox doesn't seem to be supported from here but Anbox does work on Postmarket OS, and so I was wondering if it was possible to get it working on the PinePhone.

Theoretically yes. Probably just a matter of time to have it officially. However, the PinePhone has a not very fast SoC, so don't expect a smooth experience.

The CPU clock is not the limiting factor for a smooth experience: the software is.See how well UT performs on an old phone while android cannot even work.
See how windows 10 is unable to work on older computers while Linux works fine. -

See how windows 10 is unable to work on older computers while Linux works fine.You do realize the context of my post, which is Android apps via Anbox on UT? These Android apps do not run better on UT than they would on Android itself. So far in fact they run even slower.

I'll be honest, I don't intend on using it daily, I just want to make a YouTube video about Anbox.

Anbox is included in standard x86 Ubuntu. Very easy to try there.

Well my remark was more generic.
And to be specific a smooth experience with anbox depends mostly on its implementation within UT and on the android app itself IMHO.Most android apps are crappy I agree so your assessment is correct. But pointing the finger to the hardware is something I don't like and I prefer to point out the real culprit: crappy software
I'm not pointing the finger to people working on Anbox, just that it's really alpha stage and not fully optimized even more on UT.
My personal opinion about anbox is that it is too much effort for a bad result but I wish them the best of luck and to succeed.
And with crappy android apps we will have people complaining about anbox or UT instead of the android app. -
@poVoq I meant, I'm making a video showcasing on the PinePhone on all the supported OSes.

@AppLee There's no point arguing the pedantry in this thread. Even on my AMD Ryzen 3950x with 64 GB of RAM, Anbox will not necessarily be a smooth experience, because so many things are limited, and hardware acceleration is just not there for most things.

@PizzaLovingNerd There is no technical reason that anbox could not work on the PinePhone, however it is still an extremely experimental feature even on the devices where it is currently available, and work has been going toward more important things for the PinePhone.
Also, I think anbox on UT has no arm64 support yet. So, it would take someone contributing on making it work to get it to the point where it could be installed and run.
