dekko 2 leaves drafts

while respondimg to an email a draft is created on my google account. once I send the email tge email does send, but if I login to gmail on an android device the email is in my sent folder and has a draft copy.

I'm guessing once touch send the email the draft should be deleted and its not happening.

I haven't logged into my account in a couple weeks from my android device and had quite a few drafts, I thought at first my emails were nit sending, but I looked in sent messages and they were all there too .
