F8131 Freezes on SONY bootup splash

Hi Guys,
I've been having issues getting my Sony F8131 Xperia Performance X flashed to Ubuntu touch, for the last few days.
I'm almost there now. Used TWRP, then UBPorts installer. All great - get Ubuntu Robot saying installing update on phone. Then phone reboots and freezes at SONY boot splash screen. I've tried the whole process three times, using different channels. I even tried an older version of UBPorts installer.
Which channel should I be using - to eliminate any issue there?
Any help with the boot freeze would be so appreciated. I'm on the verge of defeat and going back to android. the whole point was to move away from intrusive OS sytems.

No need to open another thread, the first one is still active.I understand your frustration, but you need a little patience we are mostly a community of volunteers and we do this on our own time.
It's holiday season and people might be busy. Give it more time, I'm sure someone will be able to help.
You can also check out telegrams channels to see if someone with this device is able to help you out.
