last update UBports with failure

Hello,
4 years ago I bought the M10FHD Ubuntu Edition. Fortunately after Ubuntu ends the support, I could update to UBports.
The last update in November ended in a failure: The settings do not start anymore.
Can anyone give a solution? -
@alwi If nothing else works, have you tried using the Ubuntu Touch Installler again to reinstall? but if you do please remember to not choose the wipe option.

I am up to #642 Dev version ( Dec 23rd ) with no problems:-
sounds best to reflash with no wipe ,a bad download most likely. -

it is possible to reach system settings via the battery indicator, so you can update to the latest version or change channels. Touching the "about" icon while in system settings will cause a crash.
