Dekko fails to load with latest update Xiaomi Redmi Note 7

@alexjoverton Same on my BQ 4.5 and Nexus 5. On my Nexus, I used the UT Tweak app to reset the cache etc, but had to then reinstall my IMAP account, but it is working again. I haven't done the same on my BQ as it is a backup phone, but Dekko is just a white page and no more.

It has been fixed, but we need to wait for next release, or you can install if from

@danqo6 ok, thanks, I guess I open with openstore when presented... did not like it a few seconds ago, I tried clearing cache with tweak tool but does not like that. Also keep alive now .. but that does not seem to help ..

@danqo6 have installed clickable but I am guessing that
git clone --recurse-submodules git@gitlab.com:dekkan/dekko.git
is not going to get your reference ... I am new to this could you help me with formatting the correct pull request to your link please . (if that makes sense LOL)
Thanks in advance

Dekko is currently broken with the Qt5.12 upgrade. Wait for a new version which fixes it or use the Release Candidate channel for the moment
-
@fla Thanks will give RC a go
-
RC channel fixes this.

I am new to ubports.
Could you please provide more details how / where to get Dekko2 ReleaseCandidate.
-
@mjosenhans They talk about a down-grade to the Ubuntu Touch RC channel.
-
The relevant issue: https://gitlab.com/dekkan/dekko/-/issues/119
and it seems the issue is being worked on.

@mjosenhans Hi it's not so much the app but the OS that you need to change. >System Settings > Updates > Update settings (bottom of list)> Channels > change from "Dev" to "Release candidate" This will prompt the download of a new image approx 500mb (check you data-plan or go WiFi!) Once downloaded click on install.
phone will reboot and install.Don't forget to backup any important data, (but everything should be ok...anyway... but just saying!!)
So you are changing your OS ubuntu (oversimplification I think!!) image to the Release Candidate that still works with Dekko and the camera etc.. and is the most stable at present.
This is temp fix until Dev is updated from what I understand.
Good luck
