I'm guessing Germany is not the only country that will shut down the 3G network in 2021.
We will still have 2G so at least you can still make a call with every phone for some time...

But... this will make nearly all the smaller smartphones useless junk...

I'm using a Nexus 4 mainly cause I don't need a giant display. but evern this it too large for my taste...

It seems like there is no phone with under 5" display that supports 4G and will be cheap enough for me to afford it and is supported by UT.

~~I think I'm now at the point to get rid off all that modern junk.... its not made for me.... its made for all those multimedia bullshit people that watch movies on a phone...

sorry just had to say that...~~

Hi, sorry for your 3G in germany. Here in france, they want 5G. But someone said in France it's cheaper like 5G, in United stade with verizon. In france a lot of internet provider is more cheaper of United States of America.

So you can have here in france internet 4g or 5g in modem rooter hub with rj45 or wifi signal at home. But sometime you need to buy modem rooter or usb stick for sim car with 4G support.

And the last step, it's Data roaming internet provider like Global Data Roaming Top-up 3G SIM Card (20MB Data Flows) - SIM Card for Asia / Europe / Africa & More .

An simcard without internet provider registration for paid data that you want to use internet roaming for airplane and internet usage internationnal destination.

I found some card like this on Amazon.

nexus 5 16gb second hand UBPORTS

            Nexus 5, 4.95" screen ?
You can find it under 50€ (scratchs, battery to change)

I should have written with clearly under 5"
even the nexus 4 is borderline for me but seems like nobody wants a 4-4,5" phone with free software nowadays...

I have a spare one and it's a quite small smartphone for its screen size.
