      Hi,

First off: thanks for the Pixel 3a port! Am very impressed with things so far.
Running stable and trying to get decent and stable mobile data. I can make it work, but the connection is very flakey (not usable: pages start to load then stop while connection drops ). So I am playing around with APN settings. By default, my carrier gives me 2 entries:
      Internet
      MMS
I am able to edit those and hit the check at the top right and changes are remembered. However, If I try to add a new entry, when I hit the check, it goes grey but does nothing else. Back to APN and I can only see those two.

Is this a UI issue or is my carrier limiting my choices / features?

Also, there doesn't appear to be a MCC or MNC setting ... which are populated on an android pixel3 using the same sim. Could these be part of my issue?

      Thanks!

I was having issues with that too playing with turning on mobil data and cellular connection then resetting helped but switching to the devel channel is what got everything working for me. This however had the phone lock up on me while rebooting and it could not be fixed without re flashing and wiping user data.

Thanks for the feedback! I tried both Dev and RC channels ... similar results so far. Logs show the ofono connection issues.

I am stable with mobile data on all channels using 3G ...

Based on a bit of further reading , I think there are common issues with ofono across Android9 based devices.

          ofono error:
