Can't switch back to Android on Nexus 5
-
Hi there,
I've been trying to go back to Android on my Nexus 5, so I downloaded the latest version of the factory image from the official website. I also have android-tools package installed on my computer.I can successfully reboot into the fastboot mode with the "adb reboot loader" command but when I run the flash-all.sh script it gets stuck on
< waiting for any device >
The device (Nexus 5) does not show up when I use the command "fastboot devices". What am I doing wrong?

@mefken33 switching back to Android lol
ok jk I really don't know, but I have found once I write something dumb a smarter person comes to help eventually
on that note, going to sleep, also good luck with it either way

UPDATE:
Turns out the cable was the culprit. I managed to flash the factory image, but strangely my internal storage seems to be messed up? My phone now keeps nagging about having insufficient storage. I apparently have 16MB of free space left lol. Is my phone done for or is there something I can do to fix it? -
@mefken33
Android always complains about not enough space.
Before I switched it complained because there was less than 1GB of free space and I wasn't able to install a 30MB app because of it...Android is just a mess IMO.
But to answer your question, it could just be Android or it could be that the partition were not restored, without more information from you it will be difficult to know for sure.
Often with Android questions, the best is to go to an Android forum like XDA...
Good luck.

SOLVED: I reinstalled UT, flashed TWRP, installed whatever ROM I wanted to use from there and it worked like a charm.

Yeah, as much as I despise Android I need a specific set up.
