There might be something useful in here https://forums.ubports.com/topic/3652/call-for-testing-samsung-s3-neo-s3ve3g-owners/97 until someone with this device arrives with more info.

          Great thing.
I'm glad you managed to install UT on your device.

@radius3 how did you do it. I've tried several times with no results.
Also the s3 neo I got is the I9300I variant. Does this make any difference?

@panagiotis The original port for the neo was here https://forums.ubports.com/topic/3652/call-for-testing-samsung-s3-neo-s3ve3g-owners/96 Not having this device all I can think is that ports are very device and model specific so double check everything would be my advice.

@lakotaubp I know, but I couldn't figure out if the specific model was the right one so tried it anyway. Thanks!

                  I9300I

FYI thats mine which is working:704f137f-caa7-44aa-9a42-5c31d3d2aa68-grafik.png

You should be able to get success with that, but any other serial might have troubles πŸ˜‰

Okay seem to have to revise the intaller and device documents, it seems there are 2 variants of the S3 Neo:

                    • S3 Neo (GT-I9300I)
                    • S3 Neo+ (GT-I9301I)

Theoretically our system image should be compatible with both, but it seems its not the case. For the time being I will add that only i9301 can be used. Lets see if we can work around this in a better way πŸ˜‰

As for the S3 Neo (GT-I9300I), the problem will probably be mainly that it should be dualsim.
You will probably need to build on this port: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/s3ve3gds
