        Hi all,
        also after the last update to OTA16, I faced the same problem when Volla phone is 'off' and connected to be charged.
        No problem if I turn off the Volla. But if I connect the plug to charge the battery, the display turn on, Volla logo appears, and then in the lower left corner appears 'FastBoot mode...'
        To turn it on again, I need to push on/off and volume swtiches. Is it a known bug?

          @mv Yes indeed, off-line charging is not yet implemented in Vollaphone. (still fasboot mode when plugging USB-C when device is off) But it's WIP.

            @stanwood I'm facing the same problem as the original poster, just for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Do we know what is needed in order to get it working?

              @mardy https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/lavender/

              As you can see in "what works" in "misc" part, offline charging is not working for your device too, so that's "nomal", and has to do with androïd 8+ devices (including GSI 9 devices).

              What is needed is to wait for dev/porter to find a way to fix this, and if you have enough skill, maybe you can help to do so.

              You can find GIT issue here : https://github.com/Halium/initramfs-tools-halium/pull/22

                Thanks @keneda! I'm actually doing the port for the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro myself, so this information comes very useful. I'll try to flash the latest devel halium9 systemimage and see if I get the rebooting behaviour.

                  Ah ok :grinning_face_with_sweat:

                  Hope you and other devs/porters find a fix for GSI 9 users ^^

                    @mardy Same here, I don't know when it will be solved for RN7.
                    Also noticed that online charging works, but no charge indicator on the display....
