What the subject says, all I have is the new recovery mode - where do I go now to either install Ubuntu Touch directly or via ADB please?

      N910F

      Thanks

Update: Error: systemimage:install: Error: 404 - is the message I am seeing now when I try to redo the install.

@acor_uk No, ubports software is to be installed on your PC, then it'll install Ubuntu Touch on your Note 4 via ADB.

You need : adb drivers installed on your PC, your device with bootloader unlocked, a good USB with data cable, and a good USB 2.0 (not 3.0) plug on your PC, then launch ubports installer that you downloaded on the link i gave you, and follow steps that it'll prompt you.

There is no "zip" to download, that's not an androïd rom procedure here, let ubports software do the work, and the downloads.

@keneda Thanks for your help but the problem is I let Ubports do the work straight away and now I can't do anything, because my phone is in recovery and even in download mode ADB can't find it, with or without the installer.

Maybe you should go on XDA forum, ask there how to reflash stock firmware from recovery, and try again installing uTouch when your device running well.

@keneda Yeah am downloading the firmware at the moment, just hope I can get my computer to recognise the device enough to be able to flash it. Thanks

@keneda Seems like actually a dodgy cable is the culprit, was using the original cable, but is actually pretty old so - fingers crossed...
