      Installing UT on an Volla Phone worked fine with the UBports linux installer 0.8.8. But there is no way back to Volla OS or to Sailfish.
      Error message (Volla):

      Error [ERR_TLS_CERT_ALTNAME_INVALID]: Hostname/IP does not match certificate's altnames: Host: ota.volla.tech. is not in the cert's altnames: DNS:volla.tech

      Error message (Sailfish):

        Hi and welcome @linix

        From the error message, I'd say that the certificate from those sites expired.
        Have you tried to manually download them ?

            @linix
            I don't know much about installing Android ROMs, I only used the installer the one time to get UT on my N5.

            But if you know how to do it, you can try to find the ROM for Volla OS and install it using the appropriate tools (TWRP, ADB, Flashboot or whatever 😉 - I'm really not a "flasher")
            Don't take this as an advice, but just if you know enough your stuff.

            Else, I'm sure someone will come here and help.
            Or you can try on Telegram...

              @applee

              Funny, it was my first attempt to flash lineage 18 with the tools you mentioned, but i failed. So I was glad that it worked with the UBport installer to get a working UT.

              I hope they will renew the certificate or I will wait until the version 0.9.

                  Today it worked. I am back to Volla. I did the same, but less error messages, the links worked.

                    @linix Please mark as solved using the cog wheel ( top right) on your original post. Then ask as question, mark as solved. It will aid others. Thanks, and well done on sticking with it.
