      Could any one help port Ubuntu touch for a tecno pop 5
      OR
      give me a step by step process on how to do it

      Since I would like to join the Ubuntu touch experience
      To make my condition harder pop 5 do not yet have custom ROM and not yet supported by TWRP
      If anyone can help a brother
      The help would be appreciated

        Without an existing halium port for it and an unlocked bootloader it might be very hard.
        Sadly the kind of knowledge you seek is rare.

        I hope you'll find help.

            But if there are no custom ROM for your device then it might be of little use.

              For the phone
              For halium I thought it depends on Android version

                You know I have worked in embedded systems for years but I still don't know what are fastboot, TWRP and the recovery...
                I mean I probably know what they are about but I cannot wrap my head around what is a specific software, what is a generic term and how they are similar but different...
                Plus TWRP makes me think of twerk and I cannot focus any longer after I made this joke in my head :face_with_tears_of_joy:

                  I am so relieved to read that. I thought I was the only one here who had no clue about those terms, to which I would add custom ROM, flash, halium, blobs, etc.
