For the 30th anniversary of the Linux kernel, B1 Systems donates 30,000 euros. One half will go to social projects, the other - as a thank you to the tireless work of the open source community - to open source projects. In the first round, suggestions could be submitted; from 5 to 19 October, the voting ran to decide to whom the money should be distributed. The sum of 15,000 euros for open source projects will be divided according to the proportion of votes received. Only projects or associations for which the payout exceeds 100 euros will be considered.
