      Hello!,

Recently I purchased an used Oneplus One phone and installed Ubuntu Touch on it and over the last couple months I have been really enjoying the experience that I have had with both the phone and Ubuntu Touch.

Continuing on, I have noticed that the OnePlus 6 is more or less well supported by Ubuntu Touch and was wondering if upgrading from the OnePlus One to the Six is worth it. Has anyone done this in the past? Is the performance gain there to justify ~$150 USD? Not sure, but is the OnePlus 6 capable of Waydroid?

      Thanks in advance

@codenul You can ask about Waydroid at https://t.me/WayDroid or look on the website http://www.waydro.id/ As for a OP6 no idea how it runs but it's going to be way better than the OP1 my OP5 is certainly far better. Really it comes down tom what you need and what you can afford, but much as I still like the OP1 the newer ones are much better and that includes the OP3.

If it's a halium 9 port on it, it should be capable.

This is interesting to me, as I have both... but I'm still using the OP1. How is the OP3 better in your opinion?
It seems fine to me, but it can't record video.

@moem Video has never botherd me, as long as camera works and it does take better photos. As for the rest I just feel it runs quicker, better and looks crisper screen wise.

Oh, that's a good point, the screen does look better! Not sure about the rest yet. I'll find out eventually... 😊
