Can I install ubports on Redmi 6A mobile phone? I'm asking this cos I could not find it in the supported devices list. Also if I can't install right away is there any chance that this device will be supported in near future. Or is there any workaround to somehow install?

For supported devices, you can head to https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/

Your device is not supported yet. As such I'm moving this thread to the Off Topic category.
        See this post:

@applee Thanks! But is there any option to set a notification when it's supported?

I would say keep an eye on XDA Developers Redmi 6A sub-forum : https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/xiaomi-redmi-6a-roms-kernels-recoveries-other.7885/ 🙂

            My phones :

            • BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Phone Edition - Ubuntu Touch 16.04 LTS
            • ZUK Z2 Pro - ZUI Android 8.x
            • Xiaomi Mi 9T - Jolla SailFish 3.4.x Community Build

            P.S. : I am NOT a developer! ;)

              I have no idea 🙂
But I'd follow Nero's advice ; I don't even know if someone is working on a port of Ubuntu Touch for this device.

Alternatively you can follow UBports on Twitter or Mastodon, maybe they'll publish something when new devices are supported.
Checking the list once every couple of month is not so tedious if you ask me 🙂

              Cheers

Thanks @nero355 and @applee, I'll keep an eye on XDA forum.
