Hello all, how long can a firmware flash last? I use UBports Installer 0.8.9- beta, the device is recognized and also goes into fastboot mode. After 30 minutes the installer still shows "Flashing firmware...".

          That is waaaaay tooooo long!

You can flash a complete Android ROM in about 10 to 15 minutes on a slow USB 2.0 connection!

Your experience reminds me of the rooting process of a LG G2 phone : I was waiting soo long that after an hour or so I simply disconnected the phone and it turned out the whole process actually already completed... d0h!

Sometimes things get bugged and you need to try again or take some risk 🙂

          Good luck!

          My phones :

          • BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Phone Edition - Ubuntu Touch 16.04 LTS
          • ZUK Z2 Pro - ZUI Android 8.x
          • Xiaomi Mi 9T - Jolla SailFish 3.4.x Community Build

          P.S. : I am NOT a developer! ;)
