Hello all,
I am a newbie to linux and pinephone. I recently installed UBports on a pine64 and my question is: Is there an option for MFA?
I searched this forum and found a section on 2FA that talks about importing keys. How would one go about setting up TOTP and/or HTOP on this pine64 for the popular MFAs like lastpass, oktaverify, symantec, microsoft authenticator just to name a few. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

@fjcupinegmailcom There are two 2FA apps in the OpenStore 2FA manager and Authenticator NG either of these should do the job.

Thank you Lakotaubp. Is there documentation that you can refer me to?

Thank you for the info:
I am still not able to follow.Let's say I have a google account that I would like to protect using one of the apps, what are the specific steps?

First, enable the 2FA on your account.
It will show you a QR code matrix, you can scan this QRcode using one of the apps available.
Now in the app you can see the temporary code being updated every period of time...
The site will probably ask you to input the value to verify the correct activation of your second factor of authentication.Whenever you'll have to log in again, you'll have to input username and passphrase then you'll be prompt for the 2FA.
Open your app on your phone and for the desired service read the current code.
A coutdown indicator will show you how long the current code will be available. If you're at the end of the period wait a couple seconds to avoid entering an obsolete one and have to redo this step... -
@fjcupinegmailcom Follow @AppLee instructions however I ahve a feeling Google relies on sending a number to a phone with a signed in registered google account and confirming on another which is not what these apps do.

@lakotaubp It is possible, just make sure you choose the option Authenticator App.
