Hello I just started playing with Ubuntu Touch. I want to be able to use my PIV card in a terminal to access remote resources. I would need to connect my PIV card to my phone (a Pixel 2XL) via the USB-c port. Is it possible to access devices connected to the USB-c port via root in a terminal or a libertine container? Or alternatively, what would I need to do in order to use a PIV card?

          Hi @rkhaja

I doubt drivers for the card reader are included in Ubuntu Touch, so my best guess would be to install those within Libertine (not sure if it is possible) and then install your software to interact with the card (also within Libertine).
But then depending on your use cases I don't know how you may connect to the service you want to access through the PIV card ?!
