Privacy - Phone sharing

One problem I have always had with smart phones (any smart phone) and tablets, is permitting others to use my device. It would be usefull if one could create a guest account on the device, and switch it off when it's not needed. That way I would feel more confident in allowing a friend to borrow my phone.
I have a phone with Ubuntu Touch pre installed on it, and I love the look and feel of the operating system. But I tried to create a new user, using the terminal e.g. "useradd guest" and it didn't work. Maybe someone thought that command would be unnecessary on a phone. But I need something that would permit me to allow limmited access to my phone for another person. -
@lorus At the current time Ubuntu Touch does not yet support multiple user accounts.

I agree that this would be a useful feature.

I asked for this feature when I was a BQ betatester, back in the days of Canonical. Especially on a tablet that is shared with other people, I think that's great.
Let's see if one day we have more resources to implement something like this.

Would be a good basic feature of UT indeed.

I was playing with UT on the Raspberry Pi 3 and there is Guest session option under the system indicator. Unfortunately, Lomiri crashes when you click it.
