@dtarrant That request has already been made https://forums.ubports.com/topic/7212/add-lenovo-x605-to-the-ubports-installer/12 There are now issues with the port at present stopping updates and OTA's which might which need to be sorted.

@lakotaubp That post concerned a request to add support for the device to the installer.
My request was about adding a Lenovo category to the forum devices section.

@dtarrant My mistake was sure I had seen one. Anyway it is being looked into so unless there are any barriers there should be one soon.

@lakotaubp I can confirm the Lenovo TB-X605F is supported by the UT Installer. I have been in contact with two other members of our community to discuss this device and it is clear that creating a device category slot for it will be of great benefit.

@lakotaubp I understand there are issues with the port and OTA etc. This is also the case for some other devices which do have a forum device category.
It would be helpful for me to be able to use a Lenovo TB-X605F device category to discuss with other community members the characteristics of the port as it now stands.
I am frequently unable to distinguish between a bug and my incompetence.
Given there is no user documentation for UT on this device, I am really involved in a reverse engineering exercise.
In other words "What is it meant to do and how is it meant to do it?"

Sorry it took so long. We are working on a ticketing system to sort and priotize tasks like this in a better way.
