@aloys Hmm. That's the same module as mine. I recall that the video recording was not as bad years ago.

How can you trust that an app really won't send some company your location data, when you tell it not to? The only way you can trust a program not to do something it isn't supposed to do is if it is free software. ~ RMS

Hi. I wonder why my video recording is so hit and miss then. πŸ€”

@opolork not an expert but maybe an hardware problem? Or... did you tried to re-install UT doing "wipe-data"? (don't forget to backup before!

                Hi.

                I did a reinstall. See here: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/6897/issue-installing-ut-stable-over-old-ut-dev-installation-solved

Yes, perhaps that's the cause. πŸ€”

Hi. No, I meant I did a reinstall a while back. I've not changed anything. I will just use the video recording feature rarely. I don't want to reinstall everything just to fix that. πŸ™‚

@opolork OK, I understand… But maybe there is nothing more that could help. Maybe the next time the reinstallation should be easier πŸ˜ƒ

Possibly. But I don't fancy having to reinstall loads of apps and tweak settings again.

@opolork Sure πŸ˜ƒ You should have a look at these scripts, they are very promising. I already use them when needed, and they are very useful. I hope that could be useful to you also.
