Please vote on all OpenStore apps that you install on UT!
Hi.
This is just a shout-out to encourage folk to vote (and preferably also comment) on all apps that they install on UT from https://open-store.io. You can log into OpenStore from your smartphone via a GitHub/GitLab/Ubuntu One account.
The voting options are [see attached image]. If anyone would like to elaborate on their meaning, please do so. I take them to mean: Love, Like, Neutral, Dislike, Bug(s)
I think the votes and comments would be of great value to the devs.
Thanks.

Website Suggestion: Introduce a 'Mark thread as solved' feature. [Solved]
Hi.
I like this feature in forums like LinuxQuestions, Ubuntu Forums, etc. How about it being added here?
In the meantime, I'll change my thread titles to [Solved] where appropriate.
Cheers.

Any plans to have encryption as an option in future Ubuntu Touch installers? [Solved]
Hi.
Is there any plan in the works? Kind of like LUKS on other distros?
Thanks.

RE: What's the situation with blue light filtering on Ubuntu Touch?
@advocatux said in What's the situation with blue light filtering on Ubuntu Touch?:
@Opolork in the meantime there's a proper solution, you could use a blue light filter screen protector on your device, or even use glasses with that kind of filter
Those are also valid workarounds. Although I think it's good to ditch the smartphone around 8:30pm anyway - to wind down for the night. I go to bed at 10:45pm.

RE: What's the situation with blue light filtering on Ubuntu Touch?
I'd see a blue light filter function as a very high priority given how it's known to affect peoples sleep so badly.

@opolork said in Can the N26 app be used on UT?:
Would this suffice? https://open-store.io/app/n26.thefeijoo97
According to the description in the OpenStore you'd still need an Android or iOS device registered to the account.
Damn!
Thank you, @arubislander.

Can the N26 app be used on UT?
Hi.
I refer to this bank account: https://n26.com/en-eu. It looks like an app is mandatory AFAICT. I'd like a N26 account and use it only from my Desktop PC.
Edit: Would this suffice? https://open-store.io/app/n26.thefeijoo97 (pity it's proprietary and not in English)
Thanks.

RE: UBPorts on Minds account
Their account is here if anyone wants to know: https://www.minds.com/UBports/
It's a shame that it's dormant/abandoned. Just 2 posts and both from 3y ago as @TotalRando mentioned.

RE: Please vote on all OpenStore apps that you install on UT!
@kugiigi Yes, I can confirm this also - I see the comment dates on my OpenStore app (on a FP2) but not on https://open-store.io as you mentioned.
