Hello everyone,

I am very happy to join this community, my name is Ermete, but I go by Il Dorato on here, you can call me either one. I came across Ubuntu touch because I was tired of using Android only. I wanted to free myself from any relations to corporations such as Google and liberate my phone hardware. I'm very interested in ubuntu touch, and I've been looking at ubuntu touch since 2017.

In 2017, I tried to port ubuntu touch to the Mi 4 and was very happy when Ubuntu touch launched successfully on the Mi 4.

Last year I tried switching the Meizu pro5 port to use halium7. It was not finished due to too little spare time.

Recently I was trying to upgrade Mi 6 port to Ubuntu touch 20.04. And I have been following up the Chinese translation work of docs.ubports.com recently.
