UT and UBports do not support dual boot. If you want to try there may be methods out there but non have official support.

If you want an android on your UT phone you can try waydroid (look for waydroid helper app on openstore for that).

Waydroid is the only way that is supported here.

@keneda Still only android apps not a full android system though, and still beta.

It is a full lineage android in a "box".
But yes, it is in beta still.
But dual boot isn't even in alpha ^^

                https://github.com/WayDroid
                https://waydro.id/

Waydroid uses a container-based approach to boot a full Android system on a regular GNU/Linux system like Ubuntu.

@keneda This may be so, but I think the point is that even Waydroid is not officially supported. It is a community effort from start to finish.

It is kind of supported as it has a subforum in supporr section, and it replaces anbox wich now is deprecated.

I think the most honest answer is the straight we do not officially support dual boot so if you try it is at your own risk. There is Waydroid that may help run certain android apps but it is very much beta. You are free to try but again at your own risk.

@ricardo65 You could always ask here https://forums.ubports.com/category/102/waydroid or https://t.me/waydroidonut they may be able to help.
