Hello people! Is there anyone using Ubuntu Touch on Xiaomi Redmi 9? Can someone share his experience? What's working and what's not, or any bugs that we should know? Plz i would like some feedback from someone that is using it as a daily driver. I want to make a move to Ubuntu Touch and i would like to know if i can make calls & send text messages or if anyone used Waydroid or Anbox. Thank you in advance!

@gidi I have installed on 9C NFC,which is probably different, but also need a lot of steps to follow, does not run very clearly, depending on what you did before (the way you unlocked bootloader, the way you flashed last ROM if so, if ADB recognizes it properly), sometimes it requires physical input on the device (change mode, because it did not happen automatically, even if it should etc), you also need latest proper ROM, I guess always the global one, and according to version listed on device page, I had stock MIUI 12.5 and had to switch to 12 if I remember well...)

I thought I bricked it like 3-4 times, now I can use it (but GPS/ Selfie Cam not working), so it should be possible if it is listed as supported device, just may be very limited in performance, if not listed as LTS
