Is there a way to silence USSD notifications?
-
Hello all,
Is there any way to silence USSD notifications? My network sends them every time I send a text and it makes the same sound as if I'd received one.
Best regards,

USSD notifications
Can you provide a screenshot, never had an USSD notification. Maybe your provider have an option to disable that notification ?

@lduboeuf The notification itself isn't too much of a problem, it's that it makes the same sound as receiving a text. I think I am able to get the USSD messages removed but I'm not 100% sure about it.

@ultrasonicnoise Ok, i see thx, but true there is no way to stop that sound except in silent mode.

You should file a feature request because that is actually a valid use case.
Then file a complaint to your carrier too because they're spamming you
Why would they constantly tell your balance?

@kugiigi Where do I file a feature request for this? USSD messages used to be a handy way to check how many messages I had left that month, so it would be useful for anyone in that position.

To stop the notifications, log into your O2 account and under settings you can disable the notifications there. Unfortunately on UT there is no way to separate individual contact notification sounds.
