        Hello!

        I listened to Q&A 121 and one of the outcomes was that Focal support is likely to devices with kernel at least 3.18, and unlikely below.

        I'm curious to know how many of the 87 supported devices have kernel above 3.18, but I don't know how to find current kernel version of the ports...

        With my two own devices I did 'uname -a' and found out that

        • Fairphone 2 -> 3.4.0
        • Fairphone 4 -> 4.19.157

        Is there this information available for all others devices? šŸ™‚
        Is it written somewhere in source code or devices-specific manifest?

            Hi @oli-sax,

            General:
            Go to our website https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device .
            Select the device you want to use.
            Go to the specifications, and note the Android version (of this port).
            Go to the following web page https://fixyourandroid.com/about/what-is-android-kernel-version/ , and look in the table for the corresponding kernel to the selected Android version.

            On the <Ubuntu Touch> device:
            System settings go to Info
            (Info) go to operating system
            Look up => device build description:
            for example: <aosp_f5121-userdebug 7.1.1 NOF27B 108 test-keys>
            => Android version 7.1.1 here
            Go to the following website https://fixyourandroid.com/about/what-is-android-kernel-version/ , and search the table for the corresponding kernel to the selected Android version.

            On Android device:
            Go to the following website https://fixyourandroid.com/about/what-is-android-kernel-version/ , and scroll down till <How do I find my Android kernel version?>

            Many greetings Mario

              On the <Ubuntu Touch> device:

              Simplier solution is to install Ubuntu Touch Tweak Tool, system, system infos. ^^

              PS : If i only look on device settings on my MX4, there is no infos on the android image, only "ARALE_MEIZU" here, so no clue for linux kernel here, but UTTT tells me (3.10.35+).

                Hi @keneda,

                At the beginning, I didn't want to refer to UT devices, and just quickly looked at mine. I thought someone from the community would correct me, as usual. :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

                Greetings Mario
