As far as I can tell the Poco X3 Pro has been sucessfully ported for quite some time now. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh7le5pUQfY is from ages ago.

And the files even seem to be in the right repositories https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/android11/xiaomi-poco-x3-pro/xiaomi-vayu/. Yet it is not supported by the installer or listed on the devices page.

Is there still more work that needs to be done? If so what?

Maybe the port is not mature enough to reach installer requirement ?

You should ask to the porter directly.

I moved you thread because porting section is for porters WIP only.

@14tbretschneider We have just updated the devices page and if your device is not on there then the only option you have is to contact whoever made the port or to do it yourself if you can.
There is now only support for items on the installer. If it is not there then the advice is to contact the porter. It is their responsibility to get devices ready for the installer and maintain it so that it can run the UT.
I have not looked at your port but it maybe it was based on the gsi which is no longer supported or the original porter just stopped, very much as @Keneda said.

Hello, can you tell me if any work is underway to port your OS to this device and add it to the official installer, if so, will the official port be expected this year?

I'm also waiting to add it to the installer. I searched and found the developer's page on Telegram

I tried this version. But the sound, microphone and vibro do not work. It is unclear how to connect microSD. This is my first test on Ubuntu touch, I liked it. It would be cool if the official installation version appeared.

Has anyone been able to install Ubuntu Touch on a Poco Vayu recently?

The video they refer to is not available. If anyone has any step by step on how to install it, I will be forever grateful.
