        Hello everyone,

i started a project where i want to leverage the powerful hardware of a OnePlus 5t to run HomeAssistant on a container, combined with the possibility of using the phone touch screen to control Home Assistant making it self-contained.
To my surprise after installing Ubuntu touch correctly and running command:

        libertine-container-manager create -i hass

i get error saying libertine-container-manager is not a known command. Also following the documentation, i went into settings to create a container from UI but bigger surprise, no Libertine manager.

        I tried installing with:

        sudo apt-get update
        sudo apt-get install libertine

both commands fail, since Partial folder is not available and i don't have rw access. I can give myself read write access and install everything but i read in the forums is not advised.

Anyone can point me in the right direction? Is Libertine not available for OP5t? Should i just toss it and stick to raspberry?

          Do you use 20.04?
          Try UbuntuTouch 16.04 stable.

          Redmi Note 9 pro (UT 20.04 OTA-5) with Legion5 (Ubuntu 23.10)

@roshi although you could get a libertine container installed on 16.04, I rather doubt that you would get Home Assistant running as an always on service running in the background with that setup.

You would be better off installing HA on a raspberry pi and using your phone to access the web ui.

It may be not the answer you expected, or the solution that fits your needs, but did you consider Nymea native Ubuntu Touch app for smarthouse driving ?

I know home assistant is popular, most known than nymea, but nymea is native under UT, and very alive, updates comes very regularily.

@keneda the nymea app in the Open Store still requires that a nymea server be installed on another (always on) computer ik the network.
