@domubpkm will do, Monday as I left the tablet at work!
-
@domubpkm how do I install the v6 of webber? I am on 0.5.7??
-
@xircon You download the good .click which is in Assets, then you press the link and install with the app Openstore that is proposed.
-
@domubpkm Tried both arm64 and armhf, neither installs."Make sure it is a valid click package".
-
@xircon Are you in ubuntu 16.04 ? It is only for this.
If yes, you can try to delete cache, config, data with UT TT, desinstall webber and install again the new .click. What is your smartphone ? -
@domubpkm Jingpad A1, so a problem
-
-
@xircon Sorry, i don't know this phone. Maybe the click package can't work with it.
UT Tweak Tool https://open-store.io/app/ut-tweak-tool.sverzegnassi
-
@xircon My guess is that you are on Ubuntu Touch 20.04
and the artifacts have only been generated dor Ubuntu Touch 16.04.
You might have to wait until the app is updated in the OpenStore. -
UT TT says 16.04.7 LTS...
-
@xircon Don't know what's up then.
-
@xircon Jingpad A1 = arm64 device. Theorically the click package should work (but it is the last RC package not in the store). Try anyway to erase everything as I told you then to install the click RC. And if it doesn't work, I don't know either!
-
@domubpkm how do I use UT TT to do what you asked cannot see an option?
-
Ignore the fact that it is armhf,same error for both and I have fat fingers and clicked the wrong one to get the screenshot
-
@xircon At the top left, the 3 horizontal lines, search engine applications, Webber, erase cache + config + data, uninstall webber (trash).
The screen you must have (you see the RC .click that doesn't work for you currently).
-
@domubpkm Makes no difference same error message. Jingpad is basically an expensive paper weight, worst decision I ever made.

This is definitely not the case. My JingPad works wonderfully.
You are running xenial, correct? Did you 'downgrade' from focal? That has been known to cause the issues you are having.
