        Hello everyone.
        As in subject, I received the tablet as a gift, and I'd like to mess it up with UT.
        Has anyone any clue on what to do?
        I unsuccessfully tried to root it, it's Docomo (JP) branded and it's carrier locked.
        No SIM actually works except Docomo and it's impossible to upgrade Android without SIM AND outside Japan.
        I can't boot in download or in recovery. (Can't remember which at the moment)

          Sorry if you have issues with your devices.

          But I think that 'Sharp Aquos Pad SH-08E' is NOT yet supported by Ubuntu Touch. Here's the compatible devices list:

          I guess someone has to port it, which is a quite long and complex task. You can take a look at our porting section to learn some more about it:
