@Keneda This blog refers to the work done by Oren in getting UT 20.04 Focal running on both PP and PPP, which was not the case until a few weeks ago. The first public outing of which was at FOSDEM.
It does not attempt to disregard in anyway all the fantastic, at times frustratingly difficult work done in getting UT 16.04 working on the PP in the first place or any of those involved in doing so. No one has been forgotten nor will be. We owe them to much for that. -

"For their work" should refer to more than one person, otherwise, it's "for his work" ^^ -

Not strictly true; we can also use they/them/their if the gender of the person is not either male or female, or not known, or irrelevant. This usage is called singular they.
