What android version was on FP4 before installing UT ?
What version of UT did you install (16.04 or 20.04) ?

@Keneda I believe it was Android 11, and now it's UT 20.04. I'm too inexperienced to provide any further useful information without being specifically asked, I don't know what to look for, sorry

@dell The sound loss issue only occurs if you install UT over Android 12. Reverting back to Android 11 and then reinstalling UT should fix your issues.

@dell Also, the volume buttons don't work for volume control, but the shortcut for screenshots works fine

@dell No, the fix is to have the correct pre install conditions. In this case that would be Android 11.

Like said, the fix is to install android 11 back on you FP4 and then install UT 20.04.

I'll add to not relock the bootloader in any case before, during, and after that process.
You need bootloader unlocked on any UT device even after succesfull installing.

@Keneda (FairPhone 4 on Android 11) hello I'm new to this , but i followed every bit of instruction and so far i cant use the earphone adapter and it was working fine before the UT install , even on desktop mode the audio stays on the device ( FP4 ) ,i really want to be able to use my earphone adapter, but idk if a reset from UT will fix that o a couple of command lines, but i seriously don't want to go through the reinstall A11 to reinstall UT Thanks.

PS: if you know a way to help the GPS going that would be awesome

                      Thanks Again

@Herndo It seems to me that the Fairphone 4's USB-C audio output isn't working yet on Ubuntu Touch, but in the meantime it's possible to connect Bluetooth headphones to it.

Concerning A-GPS (assisted GPS): this feature is still not supported yet, the device uses primary GPS for a satellite connection, which usually takes just a minute in good outdoor conditions.

@stanwood I totally agree with you in terms of connecting audio headphone with Type - C. I have tried connecting it while using Android OS and it was working normally. The same headphone did not work at all while using UT 20.04. Only 3.5 as well blue tooth headphones are working properly.

Looking forward to take this issue into consideration and be solved with upcoming updates.
