Yubikey issues

I have a Pixel 3a XL on Focal. Does it support Yubikey?
Whenever I plug in my Yubikey, the on-screen keyboard disappears. It will then reappear after I unplug the Yubikey.
Has anyone else experienced this? -
@ubuntumale the OS registers the Yubikey as a keyboard, so that triggers the disappearance of the OSK.

@arubislander Ok that makes sense. Does that mean Yubikey is supported then? Thanks.

@ubuntumale The intersection of de Ven diagrams of UT users and Yubikey owners on this forum probably contains only you. I would say try it and report back to us.

the YubiKey connection but may not fully support its intended use, and the disappearing keyboard is likely a side effect of the operating system treating the YubiKey as a physical input device. Further confirmation from other Ubuntu Touch users or official compatibility documentation would be needed to determine whether YubiKey support is currently available on the Pixel 3a XL running Focal. -
