I'm trying to install on Xperia X ubuntu touch and I have a problem with open bootloader.
I have code from website developer.sony.com , but UBports says that it can not open bootloader, what is the problem ?

@sony Have you gone through the bootloader unlocking procedure for the device? UT installer is telling you the bootloader is locked.

@sony Are you in Fastboot mode and does UBPorts Installer detect your device?

@TakoR UBPorts detects my device but I don't know if it is in fastboot mode.

@sony When trying to connect the phone to the computer and the phone is still turned off, hold down the volume down button while connecting to the PC using USB and the LED should turn blue. If it's blue, you're in fastboot mode. The UBPorts Installer should be able to see your device. Cheers.

It still looks like the bootloader is locked.

If you have unlocked the bootloader have you done this:

Download the OEM binaries for AOSP from sony, unpack them,
Flash them in fastboot (fastboot flash oem [filename])

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...

@sony Yes, I agree with @MrT10001, your bootloader might still be locked. Unlocking the If you get an unlock code from Sony, don't forget to add the 0x as a prefix. It's not in the manual but that worked for me as the unlocking sequence only accepts 0x in the front. Cheers.

                            Hi @sony,

@sony said in Xperia X can not open bootloader:

@MrT10001 Yes, we unlocked bootloader and we have status ,,unlocked''

It is not apparent to us where you read the status "unlocked" from, because further down in the post you write you don't know if you are in fastboot mode.
What does your device show, check the status via the bootloader, similar to the picture

The error message, of the Ubports installer, is strange if the bootloader jam would be "unlocked".
And please give us more info about what you have already done, and in what order. Or are you just waiting for us?

                            Greetings Mario
