Is there a possibility to install Ubports 16.04 to Meizu PRO5 (Android edition)? I've tried to use UBPorts installer 0.1.9-beta and command line, but the resuilt is the same - the following message appears on the phone, after it passes to recovery: "Update failed, contact support" (white background).

P.S. I'm able to install 15.04 without any issues.

@pitfallykmr Apparently this is the issue of small cache partition on Pro 5 that was Android originally. Xenial is probably more space demanding.
If someone know how to increase the partition, please give us step by step instructions. Thanks.

@pitfallykmr Hi in the ubports docs (app in open app store) it says its very risky and not advised on the pro 5 android.
I put flyme on an original Ubuntu mx4 and to get back to ubports involved flashing back to Ubuntu touch(501 ) using sp flash tool then to ubports 15.04 using MDT (which is dropping support for UT). So have a go if you want but be aware of the risks.

@halucigenia I found a little bit different way using sgdisk inside TWRP.

@pitfallykmr Just re-read the advice I was given that flyme (android) has a locked bootloader on mx4. Sowould guess itsthe same on mx 5. Which is why you need Ubuntu touch first before ubports. Don't know if that helps or not and you may well already be aware if it. But it might help in some way

@lakota Without unlocked bootloader I would not be able to do anything. That was the second thing I done after changing the ID from Chinese to GLobal.
Anyway, now I managed to increase the cache size, so I might give a try to install 16.04 again.
