      Can it work directly with google/play apps:
      i read something about sort of a ¨dosbox¨ program for ubuntu-touch, to work with gluugle-apps ?

      is it lighter then android also ?

        No, it cannot. But for many devices, you can install Waydroid which is a compatibility layer that makes it possible to run Android apps. I think that is what you mean.

        It's hard to say whether UT is lighter than Android but i do think it is.

        Is currently using an Op5t
        Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

          Define 'lighter'. If you mean 'gives you more mileage between battery charges' the answer is mostly, 'no'.

          If you mean 'less background services and less bloat', then the answer is definitely 'yes'.

          But a lot of that is lost or diminished if you install Waydroid.

          If you are going to heavily depend on Android apps, then maybe an Android based OS would suit you better.

            And if it is "can it run smoothly on an almost 10 years old device like Nexus 5", then answer is definitely yes.
