          With regards to app development:
My desktop os is linux mint, which currently only goes to version 21.2. Will this be a problem when compiling apps, once 24 releases?

Similarly: will the clickable format become obsolete once snap is fully integrated?

Enthousiast. Previously used Redmi note 7, now on Fairphone 4.

No, app compilation with clickable happens inside a Docker container, separate from the host OS.

The click packages format is not going anywhere for now.

Can we update the list of the devices as it seems out of date? I have two Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's running focal quite happily for me and they aren't on the Focal list.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
              I have too many devices...

Hi! Who is an expert I can talk to who knows the exact detail of what Android components remain after installation, and what those components are capable of doing?

what about creating some crowdfunding/bounty action for anyone who does VoLTE (later other missing features)? not only people from comunity could implement those stuff and the resould would be opensourced (then also usable for droidian)

Hi @UBportsNews. What are the plans for 24.04 now that upstream Ubuntu is already releasing daily builds, will we also have development builds? Will Ubuntu Touch 24.4.0 be released on the same day as upstream?

Thank you for all the great work you put into Ubuntu Touch!

                            Hello,

To install UT on a device it is very often necessary to downgrade the Android version to the same one as the Halium port before starting the installation.
This is often tedious for many users.
Will it be possible in future to integrate these low-layer Android partitions into the installer and allow it to flash Ubuntu Touch completely and directly without having to reinstall an old version of Android?
                            Thank you very much!

                            Stanwood
