        Hi,

as I am not the best programmer, I still can offer interesting thoughts. And I was wondering. If we now have on screen keyboard pumping keys and shortcut. Why not have on screen Interface? meaning, you put firefox, chromium, falkon, brave or what ever browser you like. put it in fullscreen meaning no interface, to then enable an on screen UI with tabs and what not, pumping in commands to the browser. new tab, back one page and so forth. Isnt that a good app to help both libertine and snap? And all the glorious programs there is.

        Any thoughts?

@Rinkeby hi. I'm not very sure if I follow what you mean. Can you put some example or a sketch of what are you aiming for?

Another planet, another time, another universe!

Do you mean an onscreen keyboard that can be used to input keyboard shortcuts especially with modifiers?I wouldn't mind that since desktop OSes have that functionality. Doesn't make much sense on phone form factor though. The current OSK can't be used this way since it interfaces differently and only appears based on context or texr field focus.

no, not an on screan keyboard. but similar. instead of using the webbrowsers interface for example, you have your own overlayed interface. Back, forward, home, new tab and so on. As they all got short-commands.

Anyway. I guess its something I am going to look into myself.

@Rinkeby Not sure how that will work. You would create them per app? Maybe a similar bottom bar like in the terminal app? But I'm still not convinced it'll be any better than just using those app's UI.
HUD/global menu would be helpful though 😄

yeah, lets call it HUD. that is also costumizable by the user. Its not a perfect solution. But its good enough.
